Environmental Projects

HSBC is committed to increasing awareness of environmental issues and is actively engaged in promoting conservation of electricity and water, as well as the reduction of carbon emissions. We believe that, in order to ensure that our children and grandchildren inherit a world worth living in, it is our shared responsibility to preserve the environment. For that reason, HSBC works not only to engender positive change in the consumption habits of its own employees but also undertakes joint projects with local governments and NGOs.
