Who can use HSBC Bank Business Internet Banking?
It can be used by clients who have corporate or commercial accounts at HSBC. If you do not have an account, you can file an application at the nearest HSBC Branch to open an account for your company.
What is the difference between the HSBC Bank Business Internet Banking website used by companies and the Retail Internet Banking website used by personal customers?
HSBC Bank Business Internet Banking has two main differences compared to Retail Internet Banking. One is that it offers products designed exclusively for corporate clients; and the other is that different levels of authorization can be set for each user code. The users who will be conducting transactions on behalf of the company using HSBC Bank Business Internet Banking and the authorization levels they will be assigned are determined by the designated company official. Users can safely conduct any transaction within their authorization using their personal user codes and passwords.
What is the application procedure for HSBC Bank Business Internet Banking?
First, you will need an account at HSBC. The Marketing Representative at your branch will then help you with your application. Company official/s with full power of attorney should sign the Business Internet Banking Statement, as well as filling out and signing the Company Account Authorizations Form and the “Password Delivery Form” for each user.
It should be noted that a notarized statement of the Board of Directors is required for defining a Super User when applying to use the service for transaction purposes (Standard Access Type). Each user should also submit his/her identity card if he/she is a Turkish citizen or passport if he/she is a foreign citizen. All user passwords are delivered to the company officials designated in the statements.
What documents are required to apply for HSBC Bank Business Internet Banking?
Company officials who will be conducting transactions using HSBC Bank Business Internet Banking must submit the related authorization documents together with the Firm’s Signature Circular and their personal identification documents (Certificate of Birth/Driver’s License/Passport for Turkish citizens; Passport/Residence Permit for foreign nationals).
Is it possible to block certain of the company’s accounts to prevent them from being viewed or used for Financial Transactions?
On the Firm’s Account Authorizations Form, the accounts marked “All Transactions” can be used for financial and non-financial transactions at HSBC Bank Business Internet Banking; those marked “View Only” can only be viewed; and others marked “None” are blocked for Business Internet Banking transactions and cannot be accessed or viewed using the service.
How soon after filing an application can I start using HSBC Bank Business Internet Banking?
Following document verification, the Branch enters all the users into the system and delivers the passwords to the designated company official. Business Internet Banking Passwords are activated after the approval of the related units.
What is the maximum number of users for a corporate account? Are there any restrictions?
The person authorized in the agreement to represent the firm can designate any employee as a user. There are no limitations on the number of users.
How are transaction authorizations and limits defined for HSBC Bank Business Internet Banking?
Users authorized to define authorizations and limits (Super Users) can make the necessary definitions for all users including themselves, using the “User Authorizations” menu under “Authorizations and Approvals”. Authorization and Limit Definitions become effective after the approval of a certain number of users as indicated in the agreement.

Who are Super Users and Normal Users? What are the differences?
User/s who can make/change authorization and limit definitions for the firm’s users. For firms with Standard Access, the approval of the Board of Directors/Shareholders must be submitted to become a Super User.
Users who conduct transactions (financial or viewing) within their authorizations and limits.
Is it possible to only view an account without conducting any financial transactions when using HSBC Bank Business Internet Banking?
There are two types of access in HSBC Bank Business Internet Banking: Standard and View Only. With Standard access, any financial transaction can be conducted, whereas in View Only access, only non-financial transactions are available.
How are Authorization and Limit Definitions made for companies that do not have a user authorized to make Authorization and Limit Definitions (Super User)?
In Standard or View Only access and for firms that do not have a Super User, a User Transaction/Account Authorizations form is filled out to define transaction and account authorizations of the firm’s users for Business Internet Banking. All authorization and limit definitions are entered into the system by our Branches according to the User Transaction/Account Authorizations form.
What should be done if our firm’s new account cannot be viewed using Business Internet Banking?
First, the account must be authorized for Business Internet Banking by filling out a Business Account Authorizations Form for the new account. The Super User must then authorize the users for this account. If the firm does not have a Super User, the users will have to fill out a User Account Authorizations form and submit it to our Branch to be authorized for this account.
How can I obtain the forms?
If you are a Business Internet Banking user, you can find them under the “Forms” menu; if you are not, you can obtain them from our branches.
I cannot get a good printout of the forms. What should I do?
Go to the “Page Setup” heading under the “File” tab and adjust your settings. Select A4 for page type and set the Margin width to 19 mm.
How can an employee who will be a new user obtain a password for HSBC Bank Business Internet Banking?
The “Password Delivery Form” available from Branches or on the Internet must be filled out by the prospective user and co-signed by the designated company official. The password is delivered to the new user following the submission of the form to the branch. If the firm does not have a Super User, the user must fill out the related forms and make an authorization and limit request in order to conduct the necessary transactions using Business Internet Banking.
How can the transaction authorization of a user be cancelled in the event the person leaves the company or changes positions?
The designated company official can revoke the user privileges of any employee for any reason, simply by notifying the branch in writing. Alternatively, the employee in question may personally submit a password cancellation request to a Customer Service Representative by calling HSBC Telephone Banking at 0850 211 0 111.
Can an HSBC Bank Business Internet Banking password be used again after it has been blocked?
The password can be reactivated as soon as the branch receives written instructions signed by the designated company official and the user.
How is a new password obtained in case an HSBC Bank Business Internet Banking user loses/forgets his/her password?
In case the password is forgotten or lost, the user can receive a new password by filling out and signing a “Password Delivery Form” that can be obtained through a branch or on the Internet. The form must be co-signed by the designated company official.
