e-Deposit
e-Deposit is a time deposit product, offered through Internet Banking to all retail banking customers with advantageous interest rates for a maximum limit of TRY 250.000, USD 100.000, EURO 100.000 and GBP 100.000.
Product Specifications
- You can open an e-Deposit account in any maturity, for specific currencies. More than one e-deposit account in TRY, EURO, USD or GBP can be opened up to the maximum limit.
- At the end of maturity, according to the order given during the account opening, only the “principal” amount or the “principal with the interest” amount will be renewed automatically.
- e-Deposit account can be closed from HSBC Bank Retail Internet Banking www.hsbc.com.tr, HSBC Bank Telephone Banking 444 0 111 and HSBC Bank Branches without interest payment.
t-Deposit
t-Deposit is a time deposit product, offered through Telephone Banking to all retail customers with Internet Banking to all retail banking customers with advantageous interest rates for a maximum limit of TRY 250.000, USD 100.000, EURO 100.000 and GBP 100.000.
Product Specifications
- You can open more than one t-Deposit account through HSBC Bank Telephone Banking, in every maturity, for TRY, USD, EURO and GBP, up to the maximum limit.
- At the end of maturity, according to the order given during the account opening, only the “principal” amount or the “principal with the interest” amount will be renewed automatically.
- t-Deposit account can be closed from HSBC Bank Retail Internet Banking www.hsbc.com.tr, HSBC Telephone Banking 444 0 111 and HSBC Bank Branches without interest payment.

Terms and Conditions
Time deposit accounts denominated in New Turkish Lira are required by law to set limits on the minimum balance acceptable for opening and renewing accounts. The relevant legislation was introduced to prevent a "Special Transaction Tax" of YTL 1,00 imposed on each account opening and renewal from exceeding the interest and reducing the principal in accounts with balances below a certain level.
