Possible Questions Before Transition

Why are you changing your core banking system?

We are in the process of enhancing our core banking system in order to provide you a better service as HSBC Türkiye. Whether by look, as well as newly added functions, we will provide you a much more user-friendly customer experience via our Internet Banking, Mobile Banking and ATMs.

When will be the transition / when will it be completed?

System enhancement will start on April 20, Friday at 20:00 and will be completed till end of April 22, Sunday.

What products and services I will not be able to access during the transition period?

We will not be able to offer services through our banking channels (Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Telephone Banking, ATMs or Branches). Therefore, we kindly ask you to take this into consideration and plan your financial needs, especially cash withdrawal needs, accordingly. During system enhancement period only HSBC Credit Cards will be in use. HSBC Contact Centre will only serve our customers in cases of card lost/stolen.

Can I use my credit card during the transition period?

Yes. You can continue shopping with your credit card, withdraw cash advance and pay your credit card debt via QNB Finansbank ATMs.

Is there anything I need to do about the system transition?

No. If you have a e-mail address in our system, a wide informative e-mail has been sent to you. We also sent SMS to our customers who do not have an e-mail address and is directed to our website www.hsbc.com.tr for further information.

What are the most important issues that will affect me in this process?

We kindly ask you to take this into consideration and plan your financial needs, especially cash withdrawal needs, accordingly.

Why I cannot make a transaction on the channel, when can I make a transaction?

System enhancement started on April 20, Friday at 20:00 and will be completed till end of April 22, Sunday. Thank you in advance for your understanding in this regard.

I need urgent cash, and I cannot reach my account balance. What should I do?

We kindly ask you to call the HSBC call center 08502110111.

Do I have to do something in order to be able access to the renewed Internet Banking and Mobile Banking?

You can use your existing passwords to login renewed Internet and Mobile Banking. Also you will need to download the new application. When you open the previous application, It will direct you to the download page.

Why I have not received any information about system renewal?

Detailed information has been sent to all our customers if you have a valid email address in our banking system. We also sent SMS to our customers who do not have an e-mail address and directed to our website www.hsbc.com.tr for further information.
