Paul Joseph Lawrence is a graduate of the University of Leicester, School of Sciences. Mr. Lawrence, who started his career at HSBC Group in 1982, has assumed different positions within the Group since then. He served as deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Philippines between 1997 and 2002. Lawrence, who served as General Manager at HSBC Singapore between 2003-2006 and at HSBC N.A. between 2006-2009, also became the Head of Global Banking and Markets at HSBC Group. From 2010 to 2013, he was the Global Head of Internal Audit, and he served as the member of Commercial Banking Risk Committee at HSBC Group between 2014-2016. He served as the Independent Banking Representative and consultant at HSBC Group between 2014-2018. Mr. Lawrence has been serving as Chairman of the Board at HSBC Bank A.S. since 30 October 2021.

Burçin Ozan graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Economics in English and started her professional career at Andersen Consultancy. Ozan worked in consultancy, audit processes, various merger and acquisition projects for financial institutions and obtained her Certified Public Accountant certificate while working at Andersen.

0zan, who joined HSBC Türkiye in 2002, held various positions within the finance team till 2015, during which time she played key roles in strategic projects contributing to the bank’s sustainable growth. Appointed as Deputy CFO responsible for Finance at HSBC Türkiye in 2015, she served as acting CEO from 2021 until May 2025. Between 2016 and 2019, Ozan served as a Board Member at HSBC Asset Management A.Ş. She currently continues her role as a Board Member at HSBC Investment Securities Inc.

With over 23 years of experience in the banking sector, Burçin Ozan has been appointed as the CEO and a Board Member of HSBC Bank A.Ş., effective as of May 20, 2025.

Ayşe Ebru Dorman holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University. She has a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Operational Research from University of California Berkeley and holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School. She started her career at McKinsey & Company and served as Financial Services Group Business Analyst between 1995-1997. She worked in investment Banking at Goldman Sach London in 1998. Dorman worked as a Associate Consultant at McKinsey & Company between 1999-2000 and served as a Senior Associate at Morgan Stanley Strategic Ventures London between 2000-2001. Dorman, who took on various managerial roles at Orange - France Telecom London between 2001 and 2011, worked as Vice President of Strategy and Vice President of Home and Broadband at Maxis Berhad Kuala Lumpur between 2011 and 2013. She was Deputy CEO at Acıbadem Health Group between 2013-2014 and CEO and Board Member roles at MV Holding between 2015-2020. She served as Independent Board Member at Borusan Lojistik between 2020-2023, Investment Committee Member with Borusan Ventures between 2023-2025. She is an Independent Board Member at the NATO Innovation Fund since April 2023, and at Maxis Berhad since May 2026. She continues to serve as a Board Member of HSBC Türkiye as of 30 March 2021.

Didem Çerçi holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Boğaziçi University. She started her career at İktisat Bankası T.A.Ş. and served as a Corporate Marketing Department Customer Representative between 1990-1994. Then she worked as the Corporate Marketing Department Manager at Westdeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale between 1994-1995. Served as Corporate Marketing Department Group Head, Deputy General Manager and Corporate Marketing Group Head for Foreign and Subsidiaries at Demirbank T.A.Ş. and Nationalbank T.A.Ş. between 1995 and 2001, she worked as Deputy General Manager of Corporate Commercial Individual Sales and Marketing, Credit Follow-up and Risk and Treasury Departments at İktisat Bankası T.A.Ş between 2001-2002. Between 2002 and 2010, she assumed the roles of Commercial Banking Group President and Deputy General Manager of Commercial Banking at ING Bank A.Ş. Served as a Board Member at Alternatif Bank T.A.Ş. between 2011-2017, Çerçi worked as the Finance Group President and Group General Coordinator at Aras Holding A.Ş. between 2011-2018. She has been the Managing Partner of DC Danışmanlık since 2016 and serving as the Deputy Chairperson at HSBC Türkiye since 30 March 2021.

Robert Cyril Oates holds a bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies from the University of Western Australia. He is also a graduate of the University of London, Department of History. Started his career at HSBC Group in 2000, Oates has assumed different roles within the Group since then. Oates served as a manager in the Corporate Investment Banking and Markets Department at HSBC Japan between 2001 and 2003. Oates served as Deputy Head of Corporate and Investment Banking at HSBC Qatar between 2003 and 2005 and served as Deputy Head of Credit Risk Management at HSBC Indonesia between 2005 and 2008. He worked as Deputy General Manager of Risk at HSBC Thailand between 2008 and 2011. Between 2011 and 2015, he assumed the role of European Region President of Global Banking, Technology and Services at HSBC Group. Served as Deputy General Manager of Risk at HSBC India between 2015 and 2017, Oates worked as Regional Head of HSBC Asia Pacific, Corporate Banking Credit & Market Risk at HSBC Group between 2017 and 2020. As of 2020, he was appointed as Regional Head of Credit and Market Risk for HSBC (EMEA) Europe, Middle East and Africa. Oates has been serving as a Board Member of HSBC Türkiye since 13 December 2021.

Patricia Gomes is a graduate of the Universidade Catolica Portuguesa, economics. She has a MBA degree from Insead Business School. She started her career at Citigroup Portugal as Credit Risk Manager in 1997, she served as Financial Institutions Coverage Director and Relationship Associate positions within the Group between 1998-2002. She became the head of Broker Sector and Had of Consumer Finance Sector between 2003-2004 at CitiGroup. Gomes joined the HSBC in November 2024 and she served as the Head of Financial Institutions Coverage until 2008 at HSBC London. She worked as head of Financial Institutions Coverage and Head of Banks& securities House at HSBC Hong Kong between 2008-2011.Gomes, who served as head of Financial Institutions Coverages and Head of Banks& Securities House between 2011-2014, also became head of Financial Institutions Coverage, Global Banking and Markets between 2014-2017. From 2017 to 2021, she was the Head Global Trade and Receivables Finance. Gomes, served as Regional Head of Commercial Banking, MENAT until April 2025. She was appointed as Global Head of Sustainable Finance & Transition Sales. Gomes has been serving as member of the board at HSBC Bank A.S since 26 Nov 2024.
