Paul Joseph Lawrence is a graduate of the University of Leicester, School of Sciences. Mr. Lawrence, who started his career at HSBC Group in 1982, has assumed different positions within the Group since then. He served as deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Philippines between 1997 and 2002. Lawrence, who served as General Manager at HSBC Singapore between 2003-2006 and at HSBC N.A. between 2006-2009, also became the Head of Global Banking and Markets at HSBC Group. From 2010 to 2013, he was the Global Head of Internal Audit, and he served as the member of Commercial Banking Risk Committee at HSBC Group between 2014-2016. He served as the Independent Banking Representative and consultant at HSBC Group between 2014-2018. Mr. Lawrence has been serving as Chairman of the Board at HSBC Bank A.S. since 30 October 2021.

Ayşe Ebru Dorman holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Boğaziçi University. She has a master’s degree in industrial engineering and Operational Research from University of California Berkeley and holds MBA degree from Harvard Business School. She started her career at McKinsey & Company and served as Financial Services Group Business Analyst between 1995-1997. She assumed as role in investment Banking at Goldman Sach London in 1998. Dorman worked as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company between 1999-2000 and served as a Senior Consultant at Morgan Stanley Strategic Ventures London between 2000-2001. Dorman, who took on various managerial roles at Orange - France Telecom London between 2001 and 2011, worked as Vice President of Strategy and Vice President of Home and Broadband Internet Services at Maxis Berhad Kuala Lumpur between 2011 and 2013. She was the deputy General Manager at Acıbadem Health Group between 2013-2014 and assumed the CEO and Board Member roles at MV Holding between 2015-2020. Dorman, who served as an Independent Board Member at Borusan Lojistik between 2020-2023, has been an Independent Board Member at Saran Group since 2020. She continues to serve as a Board Member of HSBC Türkiye as of 30 March 2021.

Didem Çerçi holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Boğaziçi University. She started her career at İktisat Bankası T.A.Ş. and served as a Corporate Marketing Department Customer Representative between 1990-1994. Then she worked as the Corporate Marketing Department Manager at Westdeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale between 1994-1995. Served as Corporate Marketing Department Group Head, Deputy General Manager and Corporate Marketing Group Head for Foreign and Subsidiaries at Demirbank T.A.Ş. and Nationalbank T.A.Ş. between 1995 and 2001, she worked as Deputy General Manager of Corporate Commercial Individual Sales and Marketing, Credit Follow-up and Risk and Treasury Departments at İktisat Bankası T.A.Ş between 2001-2002. Between 2002 and 2010, she assumed the roles of Commercial Banking Group President and Deputy General Manager of Commercial Banking at ING Bank A.Ş. Served as a Board Member at Alternatif Bank T.A.Ş. between 2011-2017, Çerçi worked as the Finance Group President and Group General Coordinator at Aras Holding A.Ş. between 2011-2018. She has been the Managing Partner of DC Danışmanlık since 2016 and serving as the Deputy Chairperson at HSBC Türkiye since 30 March 2021.

Robert Cyril Oates holds a bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies from the University of Western Australia. He is also a graduate of the University of London, Department of History. Started his career at HSBC Group in 2000, Oates has assumed different roles within the Group since then. Oates served as a manager in the Corporate Investment Banking and Markets Department at HSBC Japan between 2001 and 2003. Oates served as Deputy Head of Corporate and Investment Banking at HSBC Qatar between 2003 and 2005 and served as Deputy Head of Credit Risk Management at HSBC Indonesia between 2005 and 2008. He worked as Deputy General Manager of Risk at HSBC Thailand between 2008 and 2011. Between 2011 and 2015, he assumed the role of European Region President of Global Banking, Technology and Services at HSBC Group. Served as Deputy General Manager of Risk at HSBC India between 2015 and 2017, Oates worked as Regional Head of HSBC Asia Pacific, Corporate Banking Credit & Market Risk at HSBC Group between 2017 and 2020. As of 2020, he was appointed as Regional Head of Credit and Market Risk for HSBC (EMEA) Europe, Middle East and Africa. Oates has been serving as a Board Member of HSBC Türkiye since 13 December 2021.
