Graduate Programme

At HSBC, we give utmost importance to provide unique experiences for young professionals who have recently graduated from universities or master programmes as the leaders of the future. New graduates who join HSBC start their role after an extensive training programme on banking and personal development that is combined with rotation in different business lines.

Graduate recruitment is structured under 2 different programmes


Management Trainee

Candidates who have successfully completed the selection and assessment processes, have the chance to start their careers at HSBC. As part of the programme, they participate to an extensive training and give a brilliant start to their professional careers in an international organisation as MTs. In addition, they find the opportunity to experience banking in one of the leading corporations in the world by working with colleagues and managers who have specialized in their respective business areas.

Candidates are expected to have the following qualifications and skills;

  • Graduate / Post-graduate degree, preferably in Engineering and Economics & Administrative Sciences,
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with teamwork spirit,
  • Analytical mindset coupled with strategic thinking,
  • Conceptual and innovative thinking with an ability to identify practical solutions,
  • Self disciplined and self motivated profile with leadership potential,
  • Excellent command of both written and verbal English,
  • For male candidates: no military obligation or at least 2 years of postponement.


Assistant Auditors

Graduates who seek to build a career as a professional auditor in banking sector, have the chance to pursue this objective at HSBC through this programme. After a successul selection and assessment process, HSBC offers the new graduates an extensive training programme. Starting their career as Assistant Auditors in Audit department, they take an active role in audit processes of the Bank's operations and projects with a risk sensitive approach in line with HSBC vision and values.

Candidates are expected to have the following qualifications and skills;

  • Graduate / Post-graduate degree, preferably in Engineering, Economics & Administrative Sciences,
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with teamwork spirit,
  • Analytical mindset coupled with problem solving skills,
  • Ability to display strategic thinking skills,
  • Self disciplined and self motivated profile with leadership potential,
  • Excellent command of both written and verbal English,
  • For male candidates: no military obligation or at least 2 years of postponement,
  • No travel restriction.
