What is IBAN?
The purpose of IBAN is to prevent errors and resulting delays in money transfers carried out through banks and other financial institutions in European countries. Thanks to IBAN, transferred money moves faster and without errors from the sender's account to the recipient's account; thus, waiting times and additional costs arising from transaction errors are eliminated.
